MCMC-MMU MESCORP Conference 2013

With great pleasure MCMC, TM and MMU-Multimedia University Engineering Society Overseas Research Programme (MESCORP) 2012/2013 as the host would like to cordially invite you for the “Connected Lifestyle and Internet of Things: How NFC, RFID, WSN, and LTE can impact our life” Conference that will be held on 12th Nov 2013, 9am to 5:30pm at Dewan Tun Chancellor at MMU, Cyberjaya. 

MESCORP is an undergraduate based research work which involves a field study initiated by Multimedia University’s engineering students. MESCORP addresses the dire need of qualified IT-knowledgeable engineers in Malaysia by supplementing soft skills such as initiative, creative, innovative qualities to the technical skills acquired through practical applications of theories in laboratory experiments and industry experience on Internet of Things (IoT).

This year theme entitled “Connected Lifestyle and Internet of Things: How NFC, RFID, WSN can impact our life” will be one of the largest IoT gathering in Malaysia.  Focus areas that will be shared in the Conference are Healthcare, Transport, Traceability and Home and Living adopting technology such as NFC, RFID, WSN and LTE.  There will be a challenge on “3D Revolution Printing Challenge” and “NFC – pick your brain Challenge” contest at the same time to share knowledge, interest, creativity and innovative ideas among the audience.

MESCORP will be collaborating and supported by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for the Conference to further enhance the success and knowledge sharing of NFC, RFID, WSN and LTE for the future generations among the universities and the industries in Malaysia. MCMC, Telekom Malaysia and several other industries and universities has come forward to support the event by bring together one of the largest Internet of Things (IoT) gathering that would showcase new technologies and to share user experience on how IoT can help them in their day to day and in the business world.
